Ces arbres qui ont survécu au bombardement d'Hiroshima

Le Ginkgo biloba du temple Hosen. L'arbre et le temple primitifs ont été totalement détruits lors de l'explosion atomique, à environ un kilomètre de là. Un an après, une pousse est apparue sur la souche. Le nouveau temple et l'escalier en U ont été reconstruits autour. Soixante-dix ans plus tard, la pousse est (re) devenue un arbre.
